Prince William was seen urging his wife, Kate Middleton, to conclude her conversation with Rajwa Al Saif, now known as the Princess of Jordan, during their attendance at a royal wedding. The esteemed couple, Prince William and Kate, made an appearance at the wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein, the eldest son of King Abdullah, and Saudi Arabian architect Rajwa Al Saif on June 1. The joyous occasion took place at Amman’s Zahran Palace and was followed by a delightful concert in celebration.
After the ceremony, William and Kate joined the line of guests to formally extend their congratulations to the newlyweds. In a video shared by The Daily Mail, Kate engaged in a conversation with the Crown Prince while William conversed with Princess Rajwa. Once William concluded his discussion, Kate followed suit and exchanged affectionate hugs and kisses with Rajwa. During their conversation, it seemed that Kate was admiring Rajwa’s elegant wedding gown.
While William patiently stood to the side, he eventually interjected into the conversation, softly saying “chop chop” to his wife. In the video, he encouraged her to “keep going” and gestured in a circular motion, indicating that she should wrap up the discussion. William briefly waited and looked at his wife before she concluded her conversation with the bride. She then joined her husband, and together they proceeded to greet the other guests who eagerly awaited their presence.
For the wedding, Kate donned a stunning pink maxi gown with long sleeves, complemented by striking silver statement earrings. William opted for a navy suit paired with a light blue tie.
The British royals’ unexpected presence at the wedding surprised many, as their arrival was confirmed by Jordanian state media only a few hours before the ceremony. However, there is a connection between William and Crown Prince Hussein, as both men are graduates of Britain’s prestigious Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst.
In 2018, William and the Crown Prince spent time together when the Duke of Cambridge visited Jordan. At the Beit Al Urdun Palace, the Crown Prince and his friend were captured enjoying the 2018 England vs. Panama World Cup game.
The sighting of Prince William urging Kate to conclude her conversation added a lighthearted moment to the joyous wedding festivities. The royal couple’s presence, combined with their subtle interactions, brought an air of warmth and familiarity to the occasion, leaving a lasting impression on all those in attendance.
